NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department released an image Monday of a man who may have information in connection with an ongoing investigation in the French marketplace on Sunday.
According to the report, the pictured person of interest was seen fleeing the scene of an aggravated battery by Cutting shortly after the incident.
The man was reportedly armed with what appeared to be a knife in his left hand.
The NOPD said the individual is not currently wanted on any known criminal charges, however detectives believe he may have been involved in the incident or has information vital to the investigation .
